Until 2017, the area of the Norwestbahnhof was a transshipment point for goods from all over the world for Vienna and the surrounding area . Trucks were parked and unloaded, Containers redistributed, inventory lists checked and signed. In the offices one story up orders were processed, phone calls made and emails typed and in our particular exhibition venue, in Nordwestbahnstr. 8 - 10, Firma Schöps produced underwear for daily use. Now this former industrial hall houses the Brut, contemporary theatre, which was temporarily turned into an exhibition venue. I have used the characteristics of the theater space and positioned my works installatively on the black cube curtain. Thematically, the paintings quote the history of the building:
Office Work, Underpants Orders, and Advanced Excel Skills.
